21st & 22nd October 2017 - Staines Salvation Army Corps

 

Birmingham Citadel Band featured in this charity concert in aid of the Bobby Moore Fund, who received a cheque for £1300 on the night with more to follow.

30th September 2017 - BCB Gala Concert at the Ruddocks Performing Arts Centre

A busy month was brought to an end with our annual Gala concert.  This was held for the first time at the Ruddock Performing Arts Centre, Edgbaston.  It was a beautiful hall with mellow acoustics and for those of us in the audience, very comfortable seats.  The staff were extremely welcoming and looked after us very well. 

16th September 2017 - BCB involvement in the Birmingham Citadel 125 celebrations

The Chief of The Staff and Commissioner Rosalie Peddle, accompanied by Divisional leaders Majors Peter and Julie Forrest, joined Birmingham Citadel (Corps Officers Major Adrian Allman and Captain Clare Allman) for the 125th Corps Anniversary Celebration weekend.

9th September 2017 - British Open Pre-Contest music

The weekend of the British Open Band Championships at the Symphony Hall has quickly become one of my favourite weekends, and what makes it even more special is hearing Birmingham Citadel Band give a pre-contest concert in the foyer. 

10th & 11th June 2017 - Peterborough Citadel Corps

BCB enjoyed an afternoon concert at a shopping centre.  Many people gathered to hear the Band’s music which featured soloists Nicola Redhead (cornet) and Edward Dixon (Eb Bass). 

6th May 2017 - Hagley Road Village

​

Intrada: Bless the Lord (Phil Rayment) commenced proceedings for a capacity audience at the Hagley Road Retirement Village...
